I used to think politicians made stupid gun laws because they were stupid.  Now, I know they do it as ATTRITION.

I've seen someone whose barrel came unscrewed from the trunion/fixation while they were trying to get their barrel nut off. It looks like more red locktite than you can imagine but just unscrews to come out
