Cz USA compliant 30 rnd mags
« on: June 21, 2016, 08:04:22 PM »
Just got my mags today. The mags are great and the main body seems to be from a new mold. The Arrow on the back is more pronounced than the 20 rnd mags that came with the gun.

Compared the time of production stamp arrow on the back between my Czech 20 & 30 round magazines with the CZ-USA 922r 30 round magazines.
The arrow is less pronounced on the CZ-USA 922r magazines.

I would assume only the follower and base plates marked with CZ-USA are US manufactured.
If the magazine housing was US manufacture pretty sure it would be clearly marked as such.

Thanks for the tip on the compliant mags. I did not know they were doing that now. Now hopefully they won't crack .

The bodies are still foreign made, but the baseplate and follower are made in the U.S.

I'm just saying though made elsewhere the mold could be different.

Not really - the mag bodies are only made in the CZ-UB plant in the Czech Republic to the best of my knowledge, and the mold has not been changed in any way.
