My new CZC 97BD Accu Comp Tac will be in this week and I'm extremely excited. To keep the integrity of the creator's vision I had it shipped with the thin aluminum silver skate tape grips they chose for this model but I'm kind of over that look and want something different for my own use.
I don't have large hands I must stay with something slim. I do prefer the sleek look of the shape of the thin aluminum but would like something a little more grippy and colorful. Anyway, after googling it to death, it appears that there aren't many choices out there for the 97.. VZ, Hogue, LOK, etc. don't even offer grips for the 97 that I can see.

I'm aware of the offerings from CZC, GGW, and CZ-USA.

If there's something else out there that you know of please post up. Thanks!

Crickets.. Surely there is a custom grip make out there somewhere that can do this.

Factory rubber grips work well for me and I have small hands. Got mine from CGW.

I have been in touch with the folks at Cool Hand Gear who offer G10 CZ 75 grips in traditional and Shadow configuration. By September 2016 they will be offering G10 grips for the 97 and in the shape of the Shadow thin aluminum grips! Perfect!

I'm using Nill-Griff on my SA 97. Not anything like you asked for, but they do make a great grip. They also make a sportier model.

MR HH, did they include the original aluminum cheese graters as well or just the grip tape aluminum?

They just stated in an email that they will be producing a G10 grip for the 97 patterned after the skate tape aluminum grips about a month from now. It was literally a one sentence reply.

Well,
you can kinda do what I did for my CZ PO6, CZ 75b,  (and slightly differently my CZ 40b).  That is to say,  find a tool / maker / machinist or hobby guy w/ access to a decent milling/Bridgeport machine.   I made a simple fixture to mount my slim CZ aluminum grips to,  then proceded to mill them down to a standing thickness above grip frame of .015".

I have medium length fingers on a somewhat large hand. I and many others really like the narrow grips I made which also fit my CZ Compact 9mm / and thus PO1.

so really, it is quite easy to do. Just need a contact w/ some machining skills and equipment.

respectfully,
K in MI
