Looking for a recoil pad for CZ 527
« on: July 03, 2016, 06:54:49 PM »
Looking for a recoil pad for CZ 527 Carbine, trying to add and extra inch more then anything the rifle fits
but I am 6' 4" and I know it would feel nicer with that extra add on. The recoil is not so much, but wouldnt mind softening it up too.
It shoots 7.62x39 nothing over the top and if someone has one in mind what size ?
Have a good one and thanks.

I picked up a large Limbsaver for my 527 and it's a very nice fit. Being tall as well the extra inch of length is a big plus as well.

Like I said in Henpeckd's thread, a medium Pachmayr Decelerator should fit perfectly (I may find out later today or tomorrow for sure) and will give you the extra inch of LOP you're seeking.  I'm also 6'4" and have found that having a LOP of 14.75" to 15" does wonders for my consistency.

On the way to the range yesterday I picked up a medium Pachmayr Decelerator.  Fits my 527M very well, doesn't slide around like a poorly fitted pad can do.
