HELP For bifocals and half blind shooters.
« on: March 24, 2011, 05:36:02 PM »
I have this gizmo and finally a could see everything in the focus - sharp as razorblade.
All those years I could not see both, sights and target thru my bifocals and nobody point out this website.

This site better explain how it works.

I ordered from this site and saved $4.

*  To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

Those are good.

Evil Roy has (If I remember correctly) a link on his website for a formula for real shooting optics available through your optimitrist.  I shot with him and his granddaughter a couple times.  He is getting up there in years and able to shoot alongside some of the worlds most talented marksman.  He attributed it to his shooting glasses.  My stepfather had a talk with him a couple years ago and bought a pair of the exact glasses Evil Roy shoots with.  He was extremely impressed with them.

If I remember correctly the glasses are set up for your perscription with your strong eye script dialed in to see your front sight and your weak eye script focused for the target.  My 68 year old step father does well with the Evil Roy glasses and I am sure you will too.

If the information is not listed on Evil Roy's website, he is a very friendly and helpful man and I am sure he will help you get what you need.

The original websites seem to have been taken down.  I'm looking for bifocals that can help me see both sights and targets.  The bifocals I have now include only a small area at the bottom of the lens with magnification.  I'm looking for a larger sized magnification area.  About half the lens would be perfect.

Kinda like 1, I went with Wire Frames with a large PolyCarb Lens area with "Transition" coating
The major portion of the Lens is my normal, day to day, distance prescription
Had a mid (4' +/-) range prescription ground into the inner, upper corners
Can see the Target and even drive using them and the "BiFocal" sees the Sight Picture

So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

I wear a progressive bifocal and I and several of my friends use these stick on bifocals.

Just a drop of water on the inside of your lens, slide it around to where you want it and it will be there until you peel it off.
I went to the Dollar Store and tried on cheap reader glasses over my regular glasses. I held up a ball point pen and checked eyeglass power until I could see the tip of the pen clearly but not so strong as to not see at distance. 1.25 works for me.
That site has a 1.2 and a 1.6 size available.

Wonder if they can be cut without harming them ?
