So far I've tried: Vinegar bath overnight, diamond watch dog graffiti remover, every single variant is "This Stuff Works" (it didn't work), MEK substitute, rust remover, loctite dissolver. I also put a drop of stannous chloride solution. I literally have nitric acid I could try, but I don't want to corrode the frame.
IDK what to do now. Any pointers?

If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

Jasco paint and epoxy stripper is your friend. As SoCal stated, it can take days, a week, or sometimes longer to get it all off. Gently wire brush every now and then to expose fresh surfaces. Wear Industrial grade gloves when working with it. Once you get the poly off, drop it into Evap O Rust for 2 or 3 hours to remove the phosphate coating.
No matter where you're going, there you are.
