Swap Ash, just a word of caution. The length of the shaft that completely goes thru gun leaves very little protruding from the right side for you to be able to push the catch out enough to remove easy. That's why I said it would have to 'wear in' like stock catch. I have to use a plastic auto trim tool to be able to get it out. The shaft on the right side of the one I have has a dimple in the center that I assume is for using some sort of 'tool' to remove it. Just protect the finish of your PCR is all I am saying, and good luck if you try to do what I did....

My PCR PRO was ordered on December 10, 2015 so it's date code is 15 and I could not be any happier about having it purchased from CGW.

Good to know; I would not have thought there to be any difference.  I am not going to make any changes other than grips, at first.  But we'll see...
Thanks.

CGW does fantastic work.  I know there are quite a few variations CZ uses when they roll-mark the slides.  Mine is a 16 model and I ordered it from an online dealer via GB.  I'm seriously thinking about having CGW perform their magic but I can't imagine going without my new pistol for 9-11 weeks!  Not right now, anyway.

If I remember correctly, there was a post that CGW was booked into 2017 for personal gun upgrades

I'm three weeks in.... :P
The wait is fine, as long as you have something else to fill the void ;)!

Thanks for the photos!

  • Is it broken? Then why are you fixing it?

So how much are those slide stops going for? Where did you pick yours up from? And why did my p-01 stamped (compact d) come with the PCR slide stop from the surplus gb seller I purchased it from... Did the p-01 slide stop only start coming on them during a certain year of production? Mines an '02

Wife: Is it broken?
Me: No.
Wife: Then why does it need to be fixed?
Me: I knew you wouldn't understand.
Me: You're way smarter than I am babe.
Wife: Ok, so if it's not broken and not fixed, what exactly is it?
Me: It's taking time Hun. Just taking some time.

The P-01 slide stop came from CZC at $34 and I also got their SS mag brake so I can change it out after my next range trip. How about posting some pictures of yours if you have not done so before. I have found that using Tapatalk to be the best to do this. As far as your other questions, in my opinion, pictures speak volumes to get answers....

That would be the best way to see what I'm talking about, but I warn you.... The entire gun has not one piece connected to another piece. It's entirely broken down, was ultra sonically cleaned and is now sitting in plastic baggies soaking in some of my post sonic oil baths. But I'll take a few detailed images and post them up for you anyway.  I'm doing my own take on an Atrius with a Cgw twist to the whole thing. I'm thinking, tungsten silver with blued controls when I'm all finished up.
