Etching on Slide: How does CGW do it
« on: October 21, 2016, 02:10:21 PM »
When CGW makes the Copperhead and etched the name on the slide, how is this done? Cnc, laser...? Just curious if anyone knows the method. Also curious if laser etching works on the polycoat or if CGW can only etch on cerekote finishes. (No,  not trying to steal what they do, not a chance I ever get into their industry).

I responded in the other post but just in case, it's laser engraved and can be done on cerakote and the factory black polycoat like on my SP01. It's about $100 and they can put whatever you want.
