I found one last week at a gun show in South Florida.  It was the first time I had seen one in the wild in a while.  I carry one often (it rotates with my P 07) but mine is from 2006 and does not have the Omega system.  In any event, I did a double take.  The price was $1235.00!!  I had to check again on the website for MSRP, which is $675, I believe.  Bone stock at twice MSRP, must be a lot of demand.

WOW, I've never seen one at a gun show in South FL. Was it a private sale or a dealer and curious what dealer it was?

Palmetto gun show.  From a dealer with a bunch of big stores in Florida.  Hundreds of guns but only a handful of CZs and only the on P 01.

I looked for months on in...got lucky; basically won the lottery with private sale...basically brand new...case, mags, lock and paperwork for 500 cash.

HB,

Whatelse have you done to the P01 omega?  I see it has the CZ grips.  Where did you get the mag bumper?

wanted to go chrome on the trigger but not available with the omega systems...yet.  tried czc and cgw and nothing.  see link below for bumpers.  he does blackened bumpers as well which i'm planning for this gun and will go blue cz grips as i sort of like the shadow 2 look.  still in the process of getting a cz 75 b high polished stainless so these bumpers will go to that gun.  i'm still breaking the omega in and it's doing so fast.  everything from slide to SA and DA pulls are getting much smoother and seamless, i'm a little surprised by it actually at how noticeable.  want to break the gun in thoroughly before going to mods.

I'll join in here happy to say after a long time of searching I found a P01 Omega on GB. I was beginning to wonder if this was a limited run. I've only ever had to be P01 in my hand and I remember it felt sooo good. I find it so strange that CZs are so hard to find in so many gun stores, and yet they seem so popular and in demand when I want one. I'm happy to read others' experiences with their P01s.

The convertible Omega is a mainstay in the CZUB catalog. It would appear to be mostly a matter of production capacity and schedule and large scale orders given the various pistols and rifles being put out at the one factory, as well as the timing of export shipments (although one would not even find the P-01 Omega in the main CZUB store but the CZ 75 Omega is available). On top of that, don't expect CZUB pistol designs and offerings to stay static within the near future. Stay tuned. [emoji4]

I really like the trigger on the Omega P01. I don't imagine it will fit on a standard 75 P01?

Thanks J Lee. It turned up on a search when I used the product number 91229. Searches for P01 Omega hadn't yielded any results before. Not sure if that was the difference or not.
