Is it the light?  Or is it kind of green looking?  Or is it me?
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Could be all of the above....:) It's the light and the phone camera or its the special ingredient in the spring rolls!

Looks good.  So, how does it shoot?

What's the barrel twist on those things?  Can you shoot the heavy .223 bullets through it?  Or are you stuck with the 55 and 62 grain bullets?

Haven't been to the range with this on yet. It's a 1:7 and I'm not sure if it'll take the higher grains...it should. I got the Sig 55X bug and purchased a 551 A1 too. It should be here next week and then they go to the range.

Yeah, 1 turn in 7" is great for the 75 to 80 grain "heavy" bullets.  Some of my AR's are 1 turn in 9" (the older ones) and the newer ones are 1 turn in 7".  I've only recently bought some heavy bullets to work up loads for the newer AR15's.

In keeping with the post title, found a set of SAN Swiss furniture for this toy. Better fit,Less rattle, lighter and still an overall sexy firearm! I do need a real stock axis pin...if anyone has an extra one please!

Brothers, Mestizo and Americano. Haven't figured out what to do with the railed Americano (551 A1) so it'll have to stay this way for now....or not, front end too heavy with rails so back to plastics.

Nice looking rifles.  I wish SIG would get their head on straight, figure out how to make what they want to make and just do it.  Instead of changing models/features every 2 or 3 years.  They're getting as bad as S&W semi auto pistols.

Agree. I prefer these classics as well although the MPX is not bad at all. Here's the shorty for now.

Really Rockin' these Siggies!

Wanted this to be a 553 Commando? Not quite and here's what it was before, then and now.

The Shorty with classic hand guards starting to look like a SG 553R.

The 556R (bottom) soon to be a 553R with a little paint and maybe a saw.
