Action Vs Action
« on: December 01, 2016, 08:14:07 PM »
I have a nice Bruno 601 in a 243. What is the difference in that Vs the 527 action. What I'm doing is looking into a 6.5 Grendel and rather than buy a 527, I thought I could use the 601 action.
what say you
thanks

They are announcing new cartridges in the 527's soon for 2017 production.  I would imagine 6.5 G may be one of them.

Sometime in Spring of 17 the 527 American 6.5 Grendel will be released along with the 527 Rustic which is a distressed aged Beech wood version. Just thought if my 601 would work I would update the barrel with a Lilja. The 601 is in Excellent condition with 602 box, manual, test target, cloth bag with extra trigger and tool in it. Maybe should sell it and wait for the new 527.

If they make a 300 Blackout with a threaded barrel, and a proper rifling twist (one in 7"), I bet they will sell a bunch of them.
