Its in the house!
« on: December 10, 2016, 05:45:18 PM »
RAMIng time.  A visit to the LGS revealed 3 CZs.  A 75B @ $520, traditional steel compact (very tough to leave it there) and the Rami 9mm Safety version I had them hold for me @ $580..  Looks perfect, 2015 manufacturer NIB. Perhaps I'm the only CZ fan in SE most Michigan.

The "house" its in is my home, just haven't had much time to to get her ready.  After disassembly,  I can see.remnants of cosmoline, the LGS just cleaned enough for folks to handle.  Although it's a 2015 production, it doesn't appear to be banged up from demos at all or dry fired to death.  The trigger does appear to be better out of the box compared to its older, bigger brothers.  Maybe I'm just getting used to CZ in general, now my favorite handgun mfg.

Hope to have a more thorough report next weekend.  Time to shovel snow, now :-[

Well, I found time after all to put some shots downrange.  I was rushed, so not by best session accuracy wise including my benchmark Matte Stainless that usually drives tacks.  123 rounds total for the Rami.  I was somewhat shocked to have 4 failure to feeds out of 48 rounds (nose dives) with my favorite Win NATO ammo shot from 16 round mags.  No problems with Blazer Brass 124 gr from the included mags.  No problem with Rem UMC 115 gr from 17 round mags.  My go to SD ammo is standard presure 147gr so I can hardly wait to load back up and actually try to shoot more accurately as well.  No hiccups when double and triple tapping.

Not ready for the holster yet.

With this second cleaning afterward, I'm sure the cosmoline is long gone!
