Concealed Carry PCR Sight Options
« on: January 11, 2017, 10:14:26 AM »
Greetings all,

Looking to upgrade the sights on my PCR, the factory pieces are fine for daylight target shooting but hard to really acquire quickly, I can't imagine this would ever improve under stress.  What are you guys and gals running for sights?

I don't necessarily need night sights as I usually have access to a light if I need a pistol but wouldn't rule out something because it is a night sight. My primary need is a low-ish profile for concealed carry, and better/quicker acquisition than the factory pieces.

CGW and CZC both have some good options for the PCR.

I have a Dawson fiber optic front and rear set from Cajun Gunworks (~$90) for my PCR.  These have ben great sights, thus far.  They are a perfect fit and do not have sharp edges.

Like above, I too have those Dawson Precision sights, but I kept the rear OEM and just changed the front.  It's the most important one anyway.  Under "regular" lighting conditions it lights up well. No snags on any of my holsters either.

I tend to migrate to the Dawson Precision sights from CGW as well, but mainly for the full-size frames......CZC has an excellent PCR specific sight set that is awesome and performs really well both night or day.....for what you are looking for I would go with the CZC sights.  I have them on my PCR for the very reasons you stated....... ::)

I put the MeproLight sights on 4 of my 5 CZs. $80 a set from CGW. They work great and having the same sight picture on all my CZs simplifies my shooting. POA is POI at combat range. They work, they're low profile and I hit where i shoot (most of the time  ;D) If the PCR sights from CGW had been available when I was putting night sights on my PCR I would have gotten them.
