Welcome, fellow shooter/fellow writer. Love your writing style, and your choice of guns. Keep up the good work on both!
Thanks very much! My first review and I appreciate the positive feedback. What do you write?

Excellent review, and welcome to the Club. Your heart will love you, your wallet not so much.

FWIW, I've never had any problems with the factory mags.

If you like the P-01, you'll like the SP-01 even better on the range (although it is an ammo hog). Also, don't overlook the PCR and the CZ 97, and of course the new P10C.

As others have posted, the NATO number is batch-by-batch. I bought mine new last fall, and it had the NATO number. FWIW, I don't believe there is any practical difference between those with and those without.

As far as incidental wear goes, CZ are the tanks of the pistol world, and a little wear makes a tank look mean.
CZ 75 SP-01, 97, P-01, PCR, P-06, P10C

Haha yes I can see that! When I was shooting my Glock I was in the range of 2000 rounds per year, with this CZ I'm likely going to be around 4000 or 5000 at the rate I'm going now...

SP-01s look great, but I'm the sort that wants to shoot my concealed carry gun as much as possible. I plan to compete with the P-01 as temperatures warm and the season starts back up. If I ever get serious about competition the SP-01 will be what I buy along with many CGW parts.

The PCR is awesome too, it's sexy in its own way. I want the ability to put my P-01 on the nightstand with a light attached though. That's another place an SP-01 would be great - nightstand gun.
