Locking Rings to Fit the LEE Turret Press
« on: February 21, 2017, 11:39:22 PM »
My LEE Turret Press Turret just barely clears the Primer dispenser housing.

Before I order any locking rings for the Lee dies,  I'm hoping to hear from someone that has put locking rings on their Lee turret press dies and didn't have any problems with turret rotation

Which rings will clear the primer dispenser mount et al as the turret rotates?

Rings with a hex key lock for the seating die is my primary objective.  I'm looking at the Hornady Locking rings

Thanks.

I use a Lee Turret Press too and I like the Hornady rings because of the offset hex screw, but Redding works too.  I don't have any clearance problems with either.

Thanks cdhbrad,  the Hornady rings looked trimmest,  so I'll give it a try.

The rubber o-ring that comes with the dies just adds to the flex of the the turret when seating bullets.

Wobbly,  I've got to set up another hosting sight,  before I use my Windows 10/Google Photos as a close range target for an extended mag full of heavy loads.🔫

I find flickr pretty user friendly.

Windows 10 scares me. ;D
