I sent a factory barrel to Taylor Pickerell last week to get cut to 5.2", threaded, crowned, and a Hk 3 lug installed.  I think he turned it around the same day he received it cause I got a return shipping notification 2 days after I dropped it off at the post office.  The 3-lug works great with my Rugged Obsidian - very tight, no wobble.  I highly recommend Taylor to anyone thinking about doing this - he does quality work.

I'll add another plug for Taylor...he did my Scorp a few weeks back (barrel rethread with tri-lug install, HBi handguard install and NFA engraving) and it turned out perfect! Will post pics later when I take some better ones.

I received my barrel back in yesterday's mail. It took me about 45 mins to install it.  I was amazed at how simple the Scorpion is to break down to a pile of parts.  Very simple design and I didn't have any spare parts left over once it was reassembled.
