Need some advice

I'm seeing slot of people saying that the cz spo1 shadow is the pistol to get for what I want to shoot but can't find it on the website the only ones I can find is the spo1 shadow target and the spo1 shadow custom did they stop making them I live in the usa or am I missing something or is there a better pistol for IDPA & USPSA Production any advice or help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

You're right though, appears it's been discontinued and seems the Shadow 2 is meant to replace it?

Don't think there's really a best pistol. All of the top CZs are pretty similar.

My opinion and 2 cents worth:

SP01 series are all good, just progressively more done to them from SP01, SP01 Shadow, SP01 Shadow target. The rail on all of them ads the weight for competition to stop muzzle flip. The main jump from SP01 to the SP01 Shadow (not to be confused with the CZC Shadow which as I understand it is a tuned 75) is trigger adjustment, reset etc. Jumping to the Target ads bushing etc for accuracy beyond a normal shooters abilities (at least mine ;-)

The SP01 Shadow versions have the .550" dia bbl and no firing pin interrupt.
This slightly reduces trigger pull length and friction.   
Some of the CZC versions come with 3 mags,  polished action parts and upgraded sights, grips  etc, etc.
