Seems like other models have them, so why not for the 97? I'd love to be able to shoot mine without hearing protection. My God that thing is God awful painful without protection. It's not like you can tell a bad guy, coyote, or hog to wait while I put my earplugs in. I've looked around and don't see anyone trying to make a threaded barrel happen. To me, it would be well worth the money.
