CZ 97 being auctioned April 1 at local location
« on: March 31, 2017, 01:25:45 PM »
A hardware store is auctioning off there firearm inventory April 1. I don't know what variant it might be, but it should be NIB. Any way, what would an auction price be not to bid over amount. This is the only CZ they have in auction.

Personally, I wouldn't bid over $620, which is close to what I could get it for from my regular sources.

Sent from my Mate 9.  Sorry if I missed any misspellings.

Yea I would not bid over what they sell for new and if it is an early model before the barrel and mag changes that were made (2012 and later models I think)  I would not bid more than 75% of what a new one sells for. That's my opinion in the end it really come down to how badly you want the gun and what you are actually willing to pay for it.

There is a $100+ price difference between 97 variants.  The MSRP for the latest model CZ 97B is $707 and the CZ 97BD is $816.  I have not seen a lot of CZ 97 in my LGS but the last one I saw was a CZ 97BD (latest model I believe) that was going for $779 if I remember correctly.  I would check online maybe on www.gunbroker.com to get an idea how much they sell and go from there.

The BD will be priced about a hundred more than the B due to the tritium night sights on the BD
