I can understand that train of thought since a SA/DA hammered gun is and always has been my kind of gun to own. I must also admit that had this P10 been any other striker fired gun than a CZ I would not be buying one as soon as I can if at all. I just figure since I know and love CZ I will give it a try and demand stays high enough here on CZ's that even if I end up not liking it that I can still get a premium price if they are well taken care of even if they are used. Who knows maybe I will even learn a little about why so many like Glocks which never felt good in my hand and always seemed to point high and to the right at the store or gun show. Any Glock lovers out there please don't take that as any disrespect as I know they are also very reliable guns it's just they never felt right in my hand. And yes I know I could train myself to get it to aim properly but just never wanted to since my CZ's did that more naturally for me. To each there own and any gun is better than no gun so buy what you love and works best for you

Agree. About 10+ years ago my uncle finally wanted to get a poly wonder, tried my Glocks a few times but never liked the feel. Told him to try a XD, he did, now owns three and will no part with them.

As long as it's a good company and a reliable firearm find what best for you. We have so many good options today.
Is that xd models made by springfield or is yours also HS 2000 pistols. ? Think I will stick to either Cz 75B fullsize or Po7 for EDC

I'm primarily a Glock guy but also have a P-07 and couple XDs' (Mod.2 & M). They are well made and good pistols. Looking forward to a P-10C and also the APX. Wonder when the full sized P-10 will be imported?

HS Produkt makes all XD & Mod.2, XDm, and XDs pistols in Croatia; SA just has the contract/license to import.

The mechanics of the Glock are very good (in general, because that wasn't the case with mine), but the ergonomics are terrible (that was also the case with mine). The CZ P-10c takes all that is good about the Glock design and incorporates the familiar ergonomics of the P-07 (with a little more aggressive texture).

I think I am going to take that 75B. The owner put about 1 mag threw it. But looking at it I think he never even shot it

The Sig P320 C is getting a lot of attention in this size against the G19.
Going to the range, I am seeing more and more of the Sig P320's in all kinds of configurations,
their red dot on some also.

Glock is to ergonomics what United Airlines is to passenger comfort. Granted, Glocks are extremely reliable, but no more so than CZs.

From all the reviews, it seems that CZ has captured the better traits of its hammered pistols in a polymer. Does this mean that I'm going to dump all my steel pistols? Of course not. But it does mean that we're going to have an option for a lighter piece to carry which reportedly has all the good characteristics of CZs other compacts, and that's a very good thing. I'll certainly be lining up to buy one when they finally do ship in 2021. In the meantime . . . need a second CZ 97BD to hold me over.  ;)

All of the Springfield XD's are re-branded HS2000 pistols that are made in Croatia.  They are good pistols, but you cant go wrong with the 75B, or P-07.  That would be my choice.  My CZ pistols are my favorites.

I remember when we sold the HS-2000 at the gunshop I worked at, called it the Croatian Sensation. Then Springfield bought the import rights, same as they did with the Tanfoglio CZ clone when they brought it in as the Springfield P-9, back in the day. Thus, the XD was born. Not a bad pistol. Still want a P-10C for "comparison testing", :).

Ahh,  the HS-2000... one of two guns I regret not getting when I could have gotten them cheap (the other being a Colt 2000). If only...

This side they are stil cheap or sort of stil half the price of a Glock 19. But spares this side is harde about one or two shops stock there spares. As with CZ every shop nearly has spares for them and acessories for them
