Converting a 75B to sao, and improving the trigger, have questions, need help.

Hoping someone here can help me out.

I have a new 75b matte stainless I'm wanting to make some changes to, and I'm not exactly sure what I need. 

I want to convert the gun to single action only, lighten and eliminate the creep in the trigger, and shorten the reset.

I bought the sao flat trigger, but that's all I have so far.

I know that swapping out the trigger will make the gun sao, but is that all that needs to be done?  Are there da parts inside that need to removed? The disconnector?

I was leaning towards the "defensive carry pkg" to improve the trigger, but wasn't sure if all that was needed or if just a "race hammer kit" would be enough.

I also plan to get a starter punch and a floating trigger pin.

I feel like I'm close, I just want to make sure to get everything I need, and that I don't order the wrong parts. If someone could shove me in the right direction I'd sure appreciate it, thanks.

I converted mine years ago using a trigger with both overtravel and pretravel screws, removed the disconnector, and installed the short reset kit and CGW hammer and sear.  Pretty much as you described above. 

All you HAVE to do is install the trigger and never let the trigger travel far enough forward to reset the disconnector.  I didn't remove the disconnector until I was sure I didn't ever want to go back to the DA/SA function. 

A call to CGW will get you everything you need in just a few minutes.  I've converted both of my 75/97 pistols to SAO since doing the first 75B.  I even tried to do it on a P-09 but it takes adding a stop internal to the gun to limit the trigger movement, not as easy as on the 75.
