How to know which rings to get? 527
« on: June 15, 2017, 04:44:30 PM »
Hello new member here and brand new 527 owner

what a quagmire with what rings to get  :P

I have a choice between two scopes

an old zeiss 8x56

or a new vortex 6-18x44

Some of the warnes are quick release but will either of my quite big scopes fit without removing the rear ironsight?

otherwise just go with these?

I use warne rings on all of my 527 rifles because of their lower height for smaller diameter scopes I use (Leupold 2-7 and 3-9 EFR).  Have been happy with them).

I used this from shop.cz-usa.com:  1" CZ 527 RINGS, 16MM  Product Number: 19002
Fits CZ 527 (7.62x39) perfectly.  Depending on the scope size, you may have to remove the rear iron site.  I left mine as is, since I installed a short scope: Redfield Revolution 2-7x33
