I am unclear what "0.00 or a 0.02" are, i have never heard the terms used before now.
I assume that your question is about the Single Action pull. In SA, the disconector affects the at rest trigger position. It limits the triggers forward movement after the SA reset. If it did not do this the trigger would continue forward and the Double Action would reset. Because the disconector limits SA trigger position it also affects the overall SA trigger travel.
The inside surface of the disconector hook is the part that affects the SA. The disconector hangs over the rear of the trigger bar and limits the trigger bars forward movement.
