Pistol scope mount for Witness PS

I've been looking for a scope mount (that mounts from the frame rail) for a Witness PS, and still allows for my iron sights to be used while attached.  I do not want to modify the slide.

Last weekend I tried 2 very different mounts at the gun show, both aluminum. 
One came up both sides from the rail, was centered, but was too low.  It managed to take the bluing off my front sight when racked.
The other came up one side and was off-center.  Very disappointing.

Any others out there I should look at?
I have been 3D printing some but its a lot of trial and error.

I use this "UM3" mount on my 10mm Witness Steel with a TRS-25, works great for long range work.

The way it attaches is a bit annoying but it stays very firm when torqued down. In addition you still have a rail for attaching a bipod or light.

The holster it comes with is awesome and well worth the extra $30 or so.

It does, however, NOT work with my P07 since when torqued down it binds up the frame/slide. If you have the poly witness there is a good chance this will be your experience too  . It does work fine with a Glock.

I was reading the reviews on the Mako USM.  There was one that said they used it with a Witness PS small frame and it fits with some minor mod, so that's good enough for me.  I went and ordered it along with a reflex sight.  We will see.

Ok... the MAKO USM (univeral scope mount) isn't so universal, but it is very solid and well made.  I had to modify the sides for the frame bumps and the top because it rubbed the slide (which I noticed too late).  The iron sights are not usable, the frame obscures the target.  It is not usable with the 22 conversion because the 22 cal. slide is noticeably taller than the 9mm.  I could modify the mount further, but I would risk weakening the it.  The reflex sight shown works well, but I purchased a Burris FF3 3MOA (not shown) for it.   

So for now this is what I have.
