I know some people think I am abusing my pistols with the files, Sugru, and JB-Weld, but that is what plastic guns are for!!  And, the little details are important for precision shooting like bullseye.  I know, I know, a plastic compact carry gun isn't SUPPOSED to be a bullseye gun, but I did very well with the P-09 in 2014 and won one local match with a P-07 in 2016, so I am going to see if I can score well in a match with the P-10C while waiting for a full size P-10.

So, I eliminated three little irritations since last shooting the gun on Sunday.  I filled in the P-10C trigger with JB-Weld to eliminate the butter knife edge trigger safety feel, trimmed the sharp edge off the trigger guard where my middle finger was getting irritated, and added some Sugru to the beavertail area to keep my hand from getting too high and changing the trigger finger angle.  The results were quite good from the first shots fired today.  I only had time for 50 rounds, but scored a 97 and a 95 after re-zeroing for a 25 yard 6 0'clock hold with the fattened trigger face.

The video is only 4 minutes long and should finish uploading by 10pm CDT.

Now, sometimes I have good days, but this was a phenomenal result for me with open sights instead of a red dot.  I'd have been happy with these scores with the CZ-97B"E" if I had not been practicing regularly with it.  I think I can learn to shoot 95+ targets consistently with this pistol in timed fire at 25 yards, just like I can with my "good" bullseye guns.  50 yards with open sights is going to be tougher with the little gun just because of the light weight and short sight radius.  I've already demonstrated good targets are possible at 50 yards, but they won't be givens, that's for sure.

No, I haven't cleaned it.  Might ruin it.  Yes, I want a red dot, at least for the full size when it is available.  This gun is NOT a carry gun right now.  Yes, I will put in a CGW trigger when they are available and yes, I will leave the CGW trigger safety fully functional if it is as good as everything else I've gotten from CGW.

This is fun.  Some days are easier than others.  I don't shoot well every day, but I shoot well most days.  Today was a good day experimenting with the little striker gun.   I've already been much more successful with it than I every expected to be.  It might actually be the equal of the P-07 from a precision shooting standpoint, much to my surprise.

I've still got to have more experience with the trigger to be able to eliminate the 8 ring hits.  But I think the grip and trigger finger placement is consistent now and nothing feels uncomfortable, so the changes I made definitely will help with the consistency.  The first target was off because of the zero change needed at 25 yards compared to 50 and the targets after the two good ones are off because I was too excited about the targets I had just shot!!!   It's all mental.
