I am sure TruGlo is carefully watching how well the P10C sells. If it does well, they will have their sights available in no time. It's all about the money! The issue I have with the TruGlo's fiber optics is that only the very top of the FO tubes is exposed to light. Works great if outdoors standing in the sun. Indoors, even with a lot of uncovered windows and at the outdoor range with a roof over the firing line, they  do not work well at all. If you turn the gun on its side they light up pretty good because that's where the ambient light is coming from. That's why I am interested in the Dawson front sight. It's much more open to light from different directions  which should provide better performance under different conditions. Might be a good alternative to the stock front sight  even if it's just until the TruGlos are available.

FWIW, I didn't like the stock sights at first, but warmed up to them -- they get the job done. I'm just not sure that the P10C is the pistol that you want to spend a lot of coin upgrading, compared to the standard and compact 75s, i.e., I can understand if a competitive shooter spends a lot of money upgrading an SP-01 but just don't see that with an P10C.

I like it as it is, i wont put any more money than finding the right sights. I do agree that the dawson are much more visible than truglo in situations like the covered range. I also have the shadow black rear and p07 fiber front. Im going to see how they fit today. Dawson red fiber is brighter than the red ive gotten from czcustom.

Just wanted to update what the gun looks like with czcustom shadow black rear and po7 front. Measured with the calipers, they're the same height, etc as the night sights. What will get everyones goat is the rear does not sit flush to the gun. Im sure it will be the end of the world to many but i dont mind it.

I really like the look of those! Maybe a stupid question but how do you align these? I tried covering the stock rear sight with black tape and find aligning them to the stock front difficult. This was inside my well lit house. Very difficult when aiming at darker objects around the house. The stock sights (front especially) just are not working for me. Even thought about painting the front with Testors flourescent paint. Would the P07 FO front work with the stock P10C rear as far as point of aim/ impact?

We would have to measure the fo front and compare to stock fronts, see if there the same height. I dont have calipers but the next time i swing by a friends shop, we can see if they'll work together.

I believe I read that CZ and Dawson measure their sights from different points and cannot be compared directly. Most of the reviews I have read favor the Dawson front. I believe they are counterbored providing a somewhat crisper dot. Are the sights difficult to change? I played around a little more and replaced the shiney black tape with some stickey backed black felt and it made a big difference. Eyes were immediately drawn to the front sight. Kind of like a "light at the end of the tunnel" effect.

The dawson are crisper, brighter, i have them on two glocks. Both czcustom and dawson use a .04" fiber rod. I honestly believe its the fiber rod, not the sight. Czcustom sent a "pinkish" fo rod, changed it for a "redder" rod, its closer. Thought about ordering extra dawson red fo rod for direct comparison.

Played around with some Testors  green flourescent paint today. Just painted some dots on little black pieces of plastic that I could temporarily attach to the front sight. This was just for experimental purposes to see if I could increase it's visibility.  Total fail! Even after applying a bright white basecoat dot  on my little samples the stock off white dot was still more visible. Watched a YT video where the guy used flourescent yellow and it looked great. More of a yellowish green. Maybe I'll pick some up tomorrow.

In addition to my painted front sight experiments, I will probably stop at a gun shop and check out a Springfield XDS. I read that they come standard with a fiber optic front sight. See if the whole FO front sight thing suits my ancient eyes before investing any money. Anyone else have any experience with FO sights in general or more specifically the P10C?

There's a gap on the factory sight too.  What height front did you use? 5.5mm or 6.5mm?  Any POI change compared to factory test target?

Picked up some Testors flourescent yellow today and it made a big difference in visibility over the stock front sight. Have not actually painted the sight yet just my little plastic sample piece that I can temporarily stick on the sight. Also was able to handle an XDS  with FO sights. Lighting in the gun shop was not great but the front sight really stood out even though it was barely glowing. Near the shops windows it looked like a mini red dot sight.

Just got off the phone with Dawson Precision and they do not have sights available specifically for the P10C yet. They are awaiting a P10C of their own for measurement and fitment specifics and are hoping for availability in about a month or so. I asked about those who have used the Shadow rear and P07 front and he had no knowledge of that, probably because they do not have a P10C in house yet.

Okay, just got off the phone with Cajun Gun Works and they are not sure when they will have a set of sights for the P10C, perhaps a couple months. They were not sure if the height of stock P07 fronts were the same as P10C for someone (like me) who was thinking about replacing just the front sight and blacking out the rears. I asked about using the Shadow rear and was told it would be way too tall. The whole flourescent paint thing is looking like my only option for a little more visibility.
