2075 RAMIp
« on: June 06, 2017, 01:04:41 PM »
I've been away from the forum for a while and I thought I'd check it out again.   I'm happy to see the forum is still going strong.  When I joined the forum I had a 75B and a RAMI poly.  Both in 9mm.  I loved both guns but the 75B was a bit big in my hand so I sold it.  I still have the RAMI and it is one helluva gun.  I think CZ sneaked into my house when I was asleep and measured my hand and then made the RAMI to fit it.  Of all the guns I have had, I have never had one feel so good to hold I don't want to put it down.  I know.  It's weird.  I'm a gun nut.  Anyway, it's deadly accurate and fun to shoot.  CZ said there was a problem with bulging on one side but I never noticed much on mine.  Even so, I sent it in to have it checked and CZ said it is fine.  I'm glad because I'm keeping it.  What I'd like to know is if anyone has owned a poly and also an alloy RAMI.  Is there any big difference besides weight? or anything else?

I know people have had their issues with them, but I'd love to get a RAMI p, maybe just stick to mellow handloads.

I had a 9mm poly and sent it to CZ for a replacement for an alloy due to the expected bulging problems and they sent me a brand new alloy model in .40. There was some noticeable difference but not much. Both performed equally well.

Thanks, Ozarkmac.  Your info has given me an excuse to buy another CZ instead of replace my RAMIp.
