Shadow 2 slide lock wear
« on: September 07, 2017, 09:32:47 AM »
I have 264 rounds through this new gun and it already has a groove that my nail can catch on. It's on the lockup side of the pin and the lug doesn't look bad. Has anyone had to chamfer the lower lug on their barrels?

The picture is pretty fuzzy/out of focus.

If it's just the finish worn off that's pretty normal looking.

If it's wore down into the metal then I'd say it's excessive wear.  None of my CZ's show any wear down past the surface finish on the slide release lever shafts.

And though it hasn't happened to me, several folks on this forum say CZ's can be prone to breaking the slide release lever shaft, so you might want to order a spare.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

The pin is indented where the wear line is, I know that it's not visible in the picture. I know that wear is normal, but not an indentation, this makes me think that something is wrong. This wouldn't be an issue with me if I had 1K plus rounds, but I haven't even shot 300.
