Magazine compatability
« on: September 13, 2017, 04:10:05 PM »
Annoyed at the cost of P-07 mags I started trying different mags in my P-07.  Tried my CZ Compact mags and the dry functioned well.  Now my Sphinx Compact mags fit my CZ Compact and TriStar C100 with a very small gap showing. Both CZ and Sphinx compact mags do fit in the P-07 but there is a .20 inch gap but very usable.
Now if there was only another mag that would fit the P10C.

Years ago I was always pissed that my HK/Sig guns had expensive mags, now I have a CZ P07 and P10c and those mags are expensive.

I used to buy 6 mags with all the guns I intended to shoot, a gun I bought that I was just collecting I wouldn't buy any more but I'm expecting to shoot the CZ's so right now they aren't cheap and probably will never be.

Your telling me it's annoying but I'm also the guy who has lost 4 P09 mags somewhere in my house and can't find them for nothing.

I buy 5 mags for every pistol I purchase and that seems to work out for me.

Unfortunately the P-series mags are expensive but as you have found the standard compact mags will function as will the full size mags. If you are crafty you could try cutting the window on the front of a standard mag so it will function in the P-10C.
I do use the standard 75 series mags in my P-07 for practice but they do fit loosely so I wouldn't be inclined to use them defensively.
