Ran my Scorpion Carbine in Outlaw 3-Gun today

Ran my Scorpion Carbine in Outlaw 3-Gun today and it ran GREAT.

I already had 2 USPSA PCC matches under my belt with it, but today was run and gun with firearm transitions. The first time I've used a center point sing with it under the clock.

Can't say enough about the aftermarket parts on her.

Parker Mountain Sling Swivel
Clear Manticore 32 round mag
HBI Prostock Charging Handle
HBI Trigger Spring Kit

All of the above were super upgrades

The only thing that I caught at home before the match, was that with the stock fully extended and slung with a center point sling, the butt stock would interfere with shooting my Glock 34. Shortening the stock one notch was perfect for my 5'11" height.

The highlight was out shooting our fastest shooter on the pins, plates, and 2 Texas stars bay. He used his H&K pistol, I used my Scorpion. Granted this is not apples to apples, but I'm just an average shooter.

35.72 vs 38.74 seconds

That carbine with 32 round magazine sure gives an edge in competition compared to a pistol.

There is a team challenge video that we had after the main match. Only the Texas Stars were engaged in the challenge, but boy was it FUN.

FWIW, here is our 100 yard Outlaw 3-Gun Match we have twice a year. 8 minute max. My heart RACES shooting this one.

Thank you,

I've shot SASS Cowboy for 15 years, but joining River Bend Gun Club in 2013 and getting involved in their other action shooting sports has been the bomb.

SASS, Action Pistol, Outlaw 3-Gun, USPSA PCC, and an annual Glock Match (the second largest in the USA) sure makes for a TON of fun.
