Disturbing response in the polymer pistol area

Had occasion to call CZ-USA Warranty Service today to make sure my replacement striker was mailed out on Friday which it was. While I had them on the line I asked about some of the modifications forum members have done to try to eliminate the so called "fatal flaw" and was told that any modifications done by anyone other than CZ-USA Warranty Service definitely voids the warranty on the P-10. That's definitely a deal breaker for me. So far my only issue has been the tip breaking off the striker and according the CZ-USA Warranty Service those occurrences have been few and far between. Can't wait to get my replacement striker so I can get back to the range.

So they are going to BLACKBALL anyone for trying to keep there pistol running and doing almost nothing to it? A plastic part.
That response is VERY telling of this company as a whole then!
Mine is at CZ right now for the 'FLAW",
When will they be informing me that my pistol is being held for ransom? This is headed down a VERY DARK PATH.....
I fear people will start to Scream across the whole web if this is the case, But Corporations just kinda laugh at this kind of thing, I guess

Almost every company of almost any product voids the warranty when you mess with it. Yes it sucks but keep in mind they have to count on the lowest common denominator and I have personally seen and have read about some dumb bubba stuff done to guns, motorcycles, cars and more.

I haven't been following the 10C. Can you tell me what the "Fatal Flaw" is or point me to more information. Just a gun nut who is curious.

The only company I know of that will repair a gun after modifying it under their lifetime warranty is Ruger. They will restore to factory and sometimes send your after market parts back.

Very few if any and maybe as stated RUGER will work on and warranty guns that have been modded. Not sure what planet you landed from but here on earth if you put your fingers on things you know nothing about your warranty goes away.
This goes for just about any product from firearms to automobiles to power equipment and so on. Nothing at all disturbing about it.

And really why start a new thread here just to reiterate verbatim what you've already posted in the Polymer forum? Why don't you wait till you get your gun back from CZ and see if they fix it before all this complaining?  My experience with CZ customer service has been stellar and leaps and bounds above the MANY others I've dealt with. Good grief give them a chance.

So did you just quote someone else and repost on the general forum or did you add to that? Kind of confused, the whole thing seems like some satire from the Onion. Some questionable facts, an unsourced quote and a bunch of assuming.

I'm going to make some popcorn.
