I sat down and figured out a little list...and it was weird

I have been off and on again looking at other guns to buy, (as if I had cash), and decided to try to list them...and the list was a little odd.

1: KelTec Survival 5.56mm carbine. At a suggest MSRP over $2K and being KelTec vaporware, I will likely never, ever, ever see one.
2: Star 30M or 31. Yes, seriously, wanted one for years, just really like the profile and ruggedness, nifty all steel pistol.
3: Star BM - who wouldn't want such a fun looking little gun?
4: AR-15. Never had one in my entire life, decided the prices are right to finally get one, but haven't quite managed to latch the funds yet. PSA was offering such killer deals that I could have purchased a complete AR15 rifle for less than many handguns, and not the killer expensive ones, either!

Ain't that a weird list?

I just purchased my first AR, S&W Sport II, last year at the tender age of 52. Earlier this year I built one from mostly PSA parts, with a little RRA, and BCM. You're never too old. They're almost as addictive as 1911s and CZs.

I saw the AIM email and ordered a Star BM - armoredman: like you said "who wouldn't want such a fun looking little gun"?

AR-15 is one of my favorite platforms...hours of fun and so many options!! Be careful  I personally would go for the keltec...I have a sub 2k which is OK after some extensive mods.

Very weird list!!  Only one I would be interested in is the AR-15.  I've got one.  A token AR-15.  I've got a .308 bolt gun and a 1911 as well.  I don't shoot them much, as I spend all my range time with the Kadet and CZ centerfires.  I like the rifles, but I loose sleep wishing I could go to the shooting range with the CZ pistols.

My gun lust has withered after the AK purchase. They all go bang. What I need is 20 years back on my age so I can hit something. It's getting ridiculous. I removed the ACOG from my AR today and stuck an old 3-9 scope I had in the closet on it. bleep it I will hit that bullseye.

I don't torture myself with lists.
I wander aimlessly into and out of gun stores and just wait for a crazy impulse to hit me.

Another gun follows me home.

I keep getting stuck on that image of the Tactical Sport Orange though.....
I'll stew about it for a long time - then I'll give into the impulse when I think I deserve it most - someday.

But I'm NOT putting in on a list!
