P10-C mag release spring damaged
« on: November 09, 2017, 01:30:54 PM »
I've read about another couple of people having this issue. When I removed the mag release to polish some places, I noticed the spring is damaged. I managed to bend it back to a somewhat useable shape. Has anybody found a comparable spring other than the Glock firing pin block safety spring which may be too light? Or should I just contact CZ?

I'm happy to report the Glock 19 firing pin block spring works great so far. It's a little larger diameter but finally snapped down into position. It's light enough for a comfortable  and more fluid mag release.

How odd - what did it look like? Can you grab a pic? Did the mag release still work while the original spring was in there? Nice to know of a easy cheap replacement - I never pulled mine out, just worked the mag release over and over and over.

It still worked but it didn't feel right. This is before I did my best to fix it.
