M&P 2.0 Compact
« on: October 04, 2017, 02:31:50 PM »
As I alluded to in another post elsewhere, I stopped by a Cabela's along my usual route, and can say that I will definitely be getting one of those added into the stable later on down the road. Aside from the usual M&P hinge-design trigger, that thing was sweet! It is the same size as my CZ 100 (and those nasty Glock 19's), with great balance and a much more natural point of aim than the so-called Austrian "Perfection".

The trigger pull is still an improvement over earlier M&P's, the new 2.0 grip texture is awesome, and as always, the magazine kicked out with force when hitting the release button. I also had no problem dropping the slide using my thumb to press down the slide stop lever. I think Smith and Wesson is going to sell a ton of 'em!

I only ask however, why did it take them so long to finally come out with this? [emoji848]

Some times it takes a company awhile to hit it right with a product.
I want to handle one to see for myself.
I have a full size M&P 45 auto 2.0 and really like it.

This pistol has me very interested, but i'm already too invested in other platforms.
