Thoughts on a unfired CZ 97b
« on: January 24, 2018, 03:18:43 PM »
Came across a used unfired 97b at a local place this morning for $519  that I don't need, wondering if I should jump on it for this price anyway...

That?s a great price new. Right now it?s well over $600 new and if you can find in stock. Now obviously you have to want it to be worth anything to you. Don?t buy it just bc it?s a good deal. Then you?ve wasted 520...

Yeah I was wondering that myself, maybe the FFL  can't call it new seeing it was already sold once.

Not sure about that, it did have the blue grips like what's on the shadow if that means anything...

If it's the newer model say post 2012 then that's a good deal since it has all the improvements to make it reliable with defensive ammo. If not then I'd pass.

well so you walk into this  car dealer,  you look at a  particular car.
you buy the car and then realize that it was owned previously, although it has  virtually no miles on it.
the dealer sold it to you as a new car.
 so how would you feel?
once the federal paperwork is approved and transaction is completed it is a used gun. just like a car.
now it may be a very  good condition or condition as new but its no longer new.
