Mountains out of mole hills.  8)

Yep! We are seeing the difference between people who grew up with/know and understand firearms and mechanical items and   the newbie crowd who just don't know and get all their info from a not so smart phone.
Nothing wrong with that guide rod at all.

Your statement is pretty ironic considering you don't know everybody's background here.

There are 2 responses from competent gunsmiths and parts manufacturers in this thread. which seem to go ignored over less experienced opinions.

The quoted statement is factual. There are two replies here from known qualified individuals.

Another 100 rounds through my P-10 and still not seeing any wear on my Gray Guns Super Black guide rod.
Whats the pounds rating on this fat guide rod?
I racked my 2017 P07 by the rear sights with my scale and it took average 14.5 pounds.

Using 15 pound spring.
CZ 10-PC 9mm (HBI Trigger, CGW Striker 3lb spring, GGI Stainless Guide Rod 15lb spring)
Sig Sauer P365 9mm
Sig Sauer P320 X Carry 9mm
Springfield 911 .380
