pcr frame... different CZ slide compatibility?
« on: April 17, 2010, 07:09:49 PM »
Will the pcr frame and slidestop accept a slide from most cz75 slides? such as the 75b? and shadow?

Or do all the slides with the internal guide rods not fit?

Just curious because sometimes I've wanted a longer barrel for some more velocity and longer site radius  O0

curious If i could still take advantage of the compact frame's weight and handy carryable size!

I would THINK so, but I have never tried it, I would call 1-800-955-4486 and ask Mike or someone in gunsmithing.

so it'd most likely have to be a slide/barrel configuration from a decocker model/ would this really matter?

You can not put a P-06 (.40) on a PCR. Wanted to, tried it, too tight.

Any combination in particular you want to try?

CZ 75 Pre-B, PCR, SP-01 Shadow, P-06, CZ 97

Decocker etc are part of the frame not the slide so no it will not matter. Guide rod function is part of the slide and also won't matter. I frequently exchange my 75B safety and PCR decocker uppers as well as Kadet kits. Almost all 75 uppers will fit all 75 lowers in like calibers. Some may require very minor filing (frame problem, not upper problem) like the Kadet kits do. IF so don't worry about the little you take off to make it work on your other frame it will still be fine on the original. IE had to fit both of my kadet kits to my 75B but they still work fine on my PCR just like they did originally.

When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

PO-1, and PCR are interchangeable, but you must use barrel, and slide stop. The slide stops, fit the slides. The barrel hoods are different, the PCR has loaded chamber indicator.

I know there hasn?t been any posts here for a while but I would like to advise of my experience. I have a new PCR, a new Kadet 2 kit and a new P06. I have the slide and barrel from my PCR on the P06 frame and I had fitted the Kadet to my PCR frame, but it was too tight in the P06 frame. So I didn?t want to file any more on the Kadet and just put it on the PCR frame. Now I have the ability to use a light on the P06 and shoot 9mm. They are interchangeable!!!
