Got lucky, got me new PO-1 Steel frame (SKU 99041)

My FID and permits originally took 5 month, having an address change this time.
Submitted 45 days ago, but one of the references just sent in a letter back.

I do have a question, is CZ Shadown compact is the way to go? Or 99041 and 91199 is more then enough?

I'm really on the fence about grabbing one of these if I can.  I have a 99021 and kind of kicked myself for not picking up a second one when a friend was selling his for $500 last summer.  I don't know if I trust CZs 'limited run' claims though.  The Dan Wesson A2 was supposed to be limited to only 200 each of the Commander and Government but they just released a new version with a parkerized finish.  Whether limited or not, I tend to try to shoot the crap out of any of them and can't bring myself to sell guns so it really does not matter if they bring 10,000 limited run guns in.  I still love them all.

I myself don't see that there's enough difference between the 99021 and the 99041 to justify buying another.As it stands now the only difference between the two is the rollmark on the slide, and anytime CZ wants to make anymore 99041's that's not a problem. There may 50 of them this week,but they could "find" 200 more next week. I guess it all depends on how well they sell. If CZ wants to do something, maybe offer these in small batches of say, 1000 every year, and offer them with either a saftey lever, or decocker, say 500 of each. If they really, really want to do something, incorporate the upswept beavertail across the entire 75 series line.

Picked up a 99041 today. It?s has CZ P-01 on the slide.

Ordered a 99041 yesterday from KGC.  They are sold out now but Riflegear still has some in stock for a bit more cabbage.

Since the frames are cast, this would be easy to do at the factory, one size frame for full size guns, and one for compacts, I don't see what the problem is...
