2nd day in a row at the range with my 97B "E". I felt like I was Joe L shooting the center out of the target. The darn thing almost aims by itself.
After shooting the 97 I shot a hundred rounds through my Glock 19. That instantly reminded me what I crummy shot I really am.
I have 97-BE with a Burris Fastfire III. It's my most accurate pistol. LOVE the pistol. I also have a Glock 17. I don't shoot it at 50 yards to be able to provide a direct comparison, but I'm confident saying the 97 is the more accurate pistol.
HOWEVER, don't down the Glock.
Mechanical accuracy/precision on Glocks is outstanding. It's the trigger mechanism that sucks. I installed a Ghost Inc EVO trigger on mine, which requires hand-fitting, and it's a very good trigger now. It will never be as good as the trigger on my 75 ShadowLine or my 97BE, but it's a very good trigger. A better trigger will help your Glock automatically. And if you have a Glock problem with your Glock shooting
wide left -- a common Glock problem -- a Lonewolf locking block may outright fix it. Give it some thought.
