What are your thoughts on this slightly tricked out P-07?

That looks really nice sir. Are you going to put a suppressor on it?

I have the same model in the slightly larger P09. I really like it.

Best regards.

Thanks!

I don't plan on putting a suppressor on it. I use this for more of a home defense setup and I really like having the compensator. Also makes for great fun at the range!

I think the Urban Grey P-07 with black slide is a really handsome gun, and a superb shooter. Love mine too.
May I ask which comp you're running; is it from Primary Machine or Springer??

Thanks I agree.

It is the Primary Machine stealth comp. It fits the cuts on the slide quite well.

Looks good. Put some traction grips on the handle.

I put Talon grips on mine, best $18 I've spent.

Yea, I need to order some. I love Talon grips, I have some on my P-10c.

Yea, Talon grips ROCK! One of the least expensive upgrades to polymer guns that really makes a difference in shooting.

I haven't tried their rough texture grips (that's like skateboard/sandpaper), but I have used their rough texture strips and squares when I want a non-slip contact point.

I also just noticed that Talon is now offering different colors for some models, including FDE, something they call MOSS, and GREY!  I guess that says something about the growing popularity of urban grey. IMHO it looks great in combo with black.

Woah. You really do need a ridiculously tall front sight with a DPP.

Yeah, The DPPro is a tank, but incredibly rugged. Great for the nightstand, range, or suppressor, but not holster-able with that post up there. To get it to co-witness properly with the DP rear iron I needed a .440 tall custom made tritium from Dawson. $59.

I'm having my other P-07 SR milled at Primary right now for a Venom, hoping the stock SR front will co-witness as-is.

Really though, I'm getting so used to presenting the RDS and find I don't reference the front sight anymore. It's there in case the RDS goes out, which never happens.

Probably the best milled-in RDS carry-option right now is the very low profile Viper, but I had the DPPro and Venom already.   ::)

That's not what I wanna hear! I wanted to get the DP Pro for carry heh. But I also have  TLR-2HL with a laser on it. I think I might be sold on the DP Pro 7.5 MOA. Now I have to decide whether to go for the sexy Pit Viper cut or standard optic milling :D

Pit Viper cut, very cool.
Don't get me wrong, the DPPro is a great optic. It's rugged, battery top loads, and has a wide viewing field. Easy to shoot quickly and accurately. I have the 2.5 moa on the UG P-07. also have a 7.5 moa on my Glock 17 MOS and it's even quicker for fast shooting on target. It's just a bit clumsy if you want to holster for EDC and co-witness with that towering front sight. A lot of competition shooters just ditch the front sight and it holsters no problemo.

I really like it especially the two tone color.
