Suppressor ready for GP?

Thinking of a P09, and maybe suppressor ready.  Anyone like or hate the high sights for general use?  I suppose holsters are tougher for the SR Models.  Thanks.

I bought one of the first wave of UG SR P-07s... I don?t know if CZ has made any changes to the sights since then but I had mixed feelings about them. The vials were super bright and big but, on my sample at least, the dots were drilled at different heights on front and rear. This made lining up the sights with the dots a waste of time.

Other than that they were nice so I hope mine were just an outlier or they?ve addressed this by now.

I have 2 newer P07s with suppressor sights. They are big bright and are spot on.

I took mine off because I was shooting low, groups were stupid tight though. I was just starting to shoot and I would prob blame my fundamentals looking back.

Which stinks because the rear sight has a ton of real estate and is super easy to pick up.

Front blade is very thin and the rear notch is very wide, so if that isn't your thing, consider that as well.

Good, so you generally transition well to them and find them suitable for non suppressor use?  I am ok with a wide tear notch.

Assuming hitting low was all me, I'd say yes. I'm very confident it was user error lol, no shame in saying so.

I switched to Dawsons which are awesome, but that big rear sight always made me want to switch back.

In my case these were the first suppressor sights I'd ever shot with. I found them easy to use - didn't even think about it being a problem to be honest. Dot issue aside they just worked. Now, on my RMR'd guns, I have Dawsons and they work well too... but that is with a plain Glock rear, not the "Novak-style" sight that comes stock on the P-07/P-09.
