Shadow 2 - swap over mag release for lefty
« on: March 01, 2018, 10:35:27 PM »
Hi. Trying to find out info on this - searched but no joy... Had a look at job and seems like you'd have to take out the trigger return spring to do - correct? No gun shop local to me (I'm Thailand) so looks like I'll have to do myself. Do you need a special tool to refit spring and its pin? (Yes, I'd like to order from Cajun and get that pin sleeve thing to help - but as not US, no can do.) I can deal with a bit of awkward but sometimes such things can be super difficult without the right tools... Anyone done or know of vids/instructions? Cheers.

The trigger return spring is about the only thing he doesn't remove in that vid - but, after trying, I was able to do the swap without needing to mess removing that anyways... That vid sure helped - thanks again.

Not too bad - bit of a faff getting springs back in place (had to go hunting round the room a few times when boinged out). Get the right sized flat head driver for the screw you need to remove and keep pressure on to make sure doesn't skip round and mess the head. Had to go hard to get it to turn - and I used a blue (for low torque) thread set when replaced but maybe not necessary... If you haven't done this kind of thing before and have a gunshop nearby (like you live US) I'd just take it there to avoid trouble.
