I picked up my used SP01 last Friday and took it the range on Saturday without any issues. I put 200 rounds of factory ammo and reloads through it.
On Sunday I took it to an IDPA event and had 2 issues. I was using American Eagle 124 grain bullets.
1. 3 of my magazines that dropped free at the range would not drop free on the IDPA course. I was told these are factory 10 round mags. I tested them at the range and they dropped just fine.
2. Once when I was done shooting a stage I removed the magazine, cleared the chamber and when I was ordered to drop the hammer my hammer would not drop. Per the RSO I put a mag in and pulled the trigger then the hammer dropped. It was like having a mag locked pistol. It had never done that before and I have not been able to repeat the malfunction.
The seller told me that he didn?t make any modifications to the pistol, but you never know.
Has anyone had this happen or heard of these issues before?
