CZ RAMI firing pin block
« on: March 02, 2020, 06:15:48 AM »
Hi I am new the group. I just purchased a older CZ Rami D (2008) Its looks in great shape with no wear marks except on the barrel. I have not been to range yet to try it out. I have no history on the gun.  I am looking forward to take it along with my P-07 to compare it with. I do have one question.  After doing a field strip I was surprised to see the firing pin block was different from my 75 and P-07. It looks to have a tab. My question is about the firing pin block. Has it changed since 2008? I looked on CGW and they show the standard firing pin block for the Rami.  The manual shows the firing pin block with a tab.   Depending on how it shoots, I might replace the springs. I replaced them on my P-07 and it made a big difference.

Edit:  In my search I did find a difference.  The FPB with a tab is called a firing pin block stop and the one without a tab is called a firing pin block plunger, but still do not know the reason or purpose for the difference.
