How hard is it to convert the 10 round to full capacity?
« on: February 21, 2018, 04:57:17 PM »
I have found 10 round PO9 magazines but hard to find 19 full capacity magazines.  Is there a simple fix for these?  Thanks.

Greg Cote shows CZ P-09 19 round mags in stock. You are not going to modify those 10 rounders without wrecking them.Sell them and use the money to buy the mags you want.

If they are like most of them they're only metal part way down and then plastic from there to the bottom.  They are not a 19 round magazine modified to 10 rounds but a completely different design.

I bought a compact that had 10 round magazines.  I put them in my range bag and use them at the range.  Ten rounds is a nice easy group with no counting while loading, or while shooting.  Gave one to my oldest son for his compact.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

They're dimpled and that prevents the follower from allowing more than 10 rounds in the magazine, other than that it's identical to the standard 15/19 round mags that they offer. There are no reliability issues like with the glock 10 round magazines. Glock states that their 10 round mags aren't recommended for duty /carry. I spoke with Mike Pannone in October and he told me that the cz 10 round mags run the same reliability as the standard capacity. Just an FYI, apologies for the rambling

Tri Star traded my 15 round CZ75 compact mags for my C100 for 10 rd NY compliant ones free of charge.  I know....who cares?...just saying thought that was mighty nice of them.
