Are CZ 75 Compact (91190) hard to come by?
« on: February 24, 2018, 09:47:48 AM »
Do you, guys, know if CZ 75 Compact (91190) hard to come by?

My LGS received a couple of them and now I am contemplating to buy one instead
of a long awaited P-01 Omega.

If they are in abundant supply then I can wait some more. If they disappear for the next
two years then I'd probably better buy one today.

These are in abundance and prices are low from what I see. Would watch for prices to rise to indicate a decrease in supply

Buy what you can while you can. CZs can be rare at time and never to be seen again (FDE P-09, P-02, Shadows with no rail) or they can be a dime a dozen. I wish I could buy a shadow 2 without a full length dust cover, but afaik they don't make them and never will. I don't think they make gen 1 standard dust cover shadows anymore so the boat has sailed on those.
snakeye, no worries, I don't need someone in a leotard. :)

How about the CZ 75D PCR Compact - 9mm 91194 instead?  Lots available, my absolute favorite EDC with Cajun Custom parts upgrades to lighten the first DA shot a tad.

I see, THX for replies. I'll just keep an eye on it. I am still absorbing my 75B SA so no time for another
firearm at the moment.

I want a manual safety, hence no 75D PCR for me.

I'd want to have 75B Shadow (the one w/o dust cover) but from my reading on Shadow line, it's only
the minor upgrades that differ it from the base 75B, things that can be done at home or by CGW.
Except maybe a beavertail, but my SA has a Shadow-like beavertail.

It also doesn't say "Shadow" on it. That's like a Type-R stocker on a car. Insta 5hp and 7tq.

There's lots on GunBroker. Its the steel slide 99021 model that is harder to find and cost more now.
