Opinion on CZ 620
« on: February 16, 2018, 10:39:05 PM »
I'm still doing research on 'budget' pump shotguns. I know the 620 is a new entry in this field and is made by Akkar. I've also probably read and/or seen just about every 620/628 review in cyberspace, and for the most part they are favorable. Without question, these are also great-looking guns. What I can't find are any reviews that discuss the durability of the new guns, which is no doubt due in part to how new they are. But surely there's a few people out there who jumped on the bandwagon early last year and can now report on how the guns have held up with a year of use in the field? Anybody? Thanks!

Well, since no one seemed to have an opinion on this topic, I decided I would have to just find out for myself -- so I ordered one today. The shop didn't have one on the shelf, but they did have a 612, which seemed very solidly built. The shop also had an entire shelf (an entire shelf!) of CZ pistols in one display case, so I had to spend some time drooling over those as well, though sadly I can't yet afford one. And shucks, since I was already at the shop, I also had to have a look at a 455 FS, a 455 Lux, a 527 Carbine, a 527 Varmint, a 712 S/A, and a Supreme Field O/U. Can't wait for my order to come in!

Dang!

Where you find a LGS like that!?

I'm lucky if they have 1 or 2 CZ's in the whole shop. And rifles? Fuggetaboutit...

Good for you!

It's a shop in Pickens, SC, and the owner said 50% of his business is CZs.
