P09 UG
« on: March 10, 2018, 11:52:54 AM »
Went to the fun show today. Picked up a P09 UG, and the trigger was SMOOOTH - I told them to box it up.  I also picked up a OD Green one and the trigger blew chow - stacked terribly in the second half of the pull.  I'm telling you - smooth ones are out there, you just have to go to a show and look. I could have saved about $40-50 by buying online, but this is worth it.

These things are soooo bad.  And Libtards hate them more.

My yuku blew up!

This thing feels good enough to leave stock, but I will likely go with Cajun springs anyway.  Amazing how some of these can feel OTB.  The color is very sick.

Anyone have a pic of the +2 from CZ USA???

Mine DID come with the +2s, but wanted to order more, and of course with the scare on, the larger hicaps are not available.  I passed on the +2s with the aluminum, as they don't quite match the front of the grip - just wanted to see a pic.  One thing is, I see vids with people getting FLUSH baseplates in their box - both my SR guns did NOT come with them - was I supposed to get standard floor plates in my box?

I will order some Cajun stuff tonight.  Likely just the EFP and springs.  I may pass this time on the SR Kit - it doesn't seem to change the LOR that much, and for me, the reset is NOT that bad in the P series.  Even though this one is smooth, I still want to lighten the pull - it makes it MUCH easier to keep it steady and accurate for the first shot.

BTW - the slide finish on my SR P09 is dull like my STD P07.  The UG P07 is kinda shiny - weird.

These are the ones I've ordered. When I bought my mags the only thing I could find was the 15-rounders so I bought them and a bunch of +2's :)

Seems they are out of stock at the moment but they get them in pretty regularly...

I've noticed that the accessories can fluctuate a bit, as far as what you get in the box. The two UGs I ordered within the space of a month or so came the same with extra flat base pads in the box. The P07 SR I ordered last year did not. Maybe they figure most people just never use them... *shrug*

For me the ProGrade kit is all about the hammer and removing most if not all of the creep in SA. I used to never notice but once I did, I couldn't UNnotice... LOL

I agree totally.  I started with the short reset kit and then everything but the hammer.  Boy was that dumb, LOL.  Got the hammer and that made all the difference.  Would have been cheaper and easier to get the pro kit to start with.  I will on my P-09 that is in my near future.
