I really liked the rail scales but I'm still using the factory pistol hand guard and can't bring myself to spend $55 on a stop. I actually ended up with some no name afg similar to magpul but lower and longer. Made it shorter to eliminate the overhang and be able to remove the lower. I also used the factory stop but i made it a little slimmer and lower. When everything comes back from cerakote I get a photo.

Don't have a scorpion but have some AR15 pistols.

For me, the best reason for a hand stop is to keep my fingers/hand well behind the end of the handguard/free float tube and the end of the barrel.  All of mine have either a magpul handstop, or something similar (aluminum, but looks/works similar).  They aren't real big, but they give me a stopping point when my hand goes out towards the end of the free float tube.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
