In the meantime was hoping to learn why people choose to upgrade certain components since that part is very foreign to me.

For me, I came to CZ?s from shooting revolvers. Triggers in a revolver have little to no play in them. I could shoot my Rami just fine, but didn?t like the take up (slop) in the trigger. So I ended up with the Short Reset (SRS) and Type 2 disco. This took most of the slack out of the trigger, making it similar to the manual of arms I was used to.
Then for my birthday a couple years ago I installed the full Pro Package in my SP01 Tac. It is wow, just wow[emoji16] 10x bushing is on the list just for fun. But it?s just my range toy and as much as I like it, I don?t think I want the hammer at this time in my other CZ?s. (Personal choice)
My Phantom is the HD, so it has the same as the Rami, SRS and T2 disco. The P01 is mainly my wife?s. We got her a Kadet kit to put on it for her to learn to shoot. Ended up with the SRS and the Reach Reduction Kit (RRK) with the modified T2 disco to help with the trigger reach.
As you can see, my choices were for specific reasons. Oh and be forewarned, CGW can be just as addicting as CZ themselves.
Hope that gives you a bit of insight as to why I added or didn?t add parts.
